This Privacy Policy describes how G P Global Soft Tech Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “YourPilot”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards your personal information when you use the YourPilot services, including our mobile applications and the website at yourpilot.in.
We operate in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).
1. Information we collect
- Identity data: name, photo, government identifiers (Aadhaar, PAN), driver licence (for pilots), date of birth.
- Contact data: phone number, email, postal address.
- Location data: GPS coordinates and route data during active rides.
- Payment data: tokenised card or UPI identifiers (we do not store full card numbers).
- Device and usage data: device model, OS version, app crashes, anonymised usage analytics.
2. How we use your information
- To match you with verified pilots and operate the ride.
- To verify the identity and eligibility of pilots and agents.
- To process payments and refunds.
- To send transactional communications (booking confirmations, OTPs, payment receipts).
- To improve safety, prevent fraud, and respond to law-enforcement requests where legally required.
3. Third parties we share data with
We share the minimum data necessary with the following service providers, each bound by contractual confidentiality and data-use restrictions:
- Digio — KYC and document verification.
- Razorpay — payment processing and pilot payouts.
- Exotel — masked-call relays between pilots and riders.
- MSG91 — transactional SMS and OTP delivery.
- Amazon Web Services (Mumbai region) — cloud hosting and storage.
- Google Maps Platform — geocoding, routing, and map tiles.
4. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Ride and payment records are retained for at least eight years to meet Indian tax and accounting requirements.
5. Your rights
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis.
- Grievance — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer.

6. Security
We use AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, and AWS KMS for key management. Internal access to personal data is least-privilege, audited, and logged.
7. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app and via email. Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
