This policy explains when a YourPilot ride can be cancelled, when a refund is issued, and how long it takes. It applies to all rides booked through the YourPilot apps and partner channels.
Cancellation by customer
- Within 2 minutes of booking: free cancellation, no fee.
- Between 2 and 5 minutes of booking, or before pilot dispatch: ₹ 30 cancellation fee.
- After pilot dispatch and before arrival: ₹ 60 cancellation fee.
- After the pilot has arrived at the pickup point: full base fare plus distance-to-pickup is charged.
Cancellation by pilot or platform
If your pilot cancels, or YourPilot is unable to dispatch a pilot within 15 minutes of your scheduled pickup, no charge is applied. If any amount has been pre-authorised on your card or wallet, it is released immediately.
Refund eligibility
- Duplicate charge for the same ride.
- Charge for a ride that was cancelled by the platform or pilot.
- Overcharge due to a metering or billing error.
- Quality-of-service complaints that are upheld after investigation.
Refund SLA
Approved refunds are processed within 1 business day to your original payment method via Razorpay. The funds typically reflect in your account within 5–7 business days, subject to your bank or wallet provider’s settlement timelines.
How to file a claim
- Email a description of the issue and the ride ID to support@yourpilot.in
- Or use the in-app help flow under Ride history → Report an issue.
- We acknowledge every claim within 24 hours and resolve most within 3 business days.
Grievance escalation
If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer at the registered office of G P Global Soft Tech Pvt Ltd. A designated Grievance Officer will be notified in this section once the role is filled.
